Brad I have no dimensions but I will try to get you some part numbers, the bike that they are on is not near to me, but I will see what I can do for you. I dont think that anything was moved to fit them again I will try to find out.

Jim
I would be interested in thoses dimensions / and / or Part numbers.
A few close pics of the Guards mounting points , ? ,
Thanks

Brad and P (and anyone else who wants them)

If you send me your email address's in a PM I will send you all the part numbers and some dimensions/pictures I cant get them small enough to post on line.
Sorry

Jim

Thanks Jim,
System will not let me send you a PM, maybe not enough posts?
Any chance of a PM with your email? :beerjug:

I have the part numbers, but was quoted a high price for these parts, I'm going to machine some up. The parts fiche gives a very limited description hoping to get some inside and out side dimensions along with the flange sizes and lengths. Also real curious on the detail around the TPS, the HP2 has the TPS mounted 180 degrees to the GS, part numbers are the same but the part is not able to be changed over, there has been some disscussion of this on the ADV forum.

The maxbmw web site has a parts fiche that anyone can access, it gives part numbers and descriptions for all bikes. Plus prices in US dollars.

Thanks
Brad.

Brad

At the moment all I have is what you already have, as in the info on the parts fiche, and the guy that has them fitted is away until the weekend. I will be speaking to him Saturday and ask for some detailed photos that I will post and also see if he can sort out some dimensions for you .

Hope this is OK Brad

Jim

Jim tremendous, give us a shot of a whole view of the bike please,

The guy that done the blue one is from Tahoe, is that NZ :nenau , but I really do think they need the crash bars for the extra protection

Tahoe is north of San Fransisco great place for a GS, I dont like the screen, what about you?

How are the injuries going?

Hepco & Becker bars, I'd guess. Spotted them somewhere last week.......

Doin fine, have been back on an XT600 I got the lone of. Can manage about 50miles or so on it, but tire easily. Pain is easing a lot day by day. cheers for asking.
Got the call tonight, from my local dealer. Goahead given by insurance, all parts ordered, at last :thumb

The black wheels look good on my pals bike dont you think. you would not think that it has done near 40000 miles would you. The mods are not cheep but if you have a great 1200 GS (as they all are) it saves you a fortune against trading up to an ADV :beerjug:

Glad you are back riding, hope to see you when your bike is fixed if you ever get over our way. going to bed now but I may just have a beer first, only on though ;)
