as someone who does like football, when its played well, i feel Cantona took the game to a different level and played the media for what it was. He aint no prick, but he inspires those extreme perceptions of himself, due to people only seeing him through the eyes of the media. Bit like Roy Keane, a so called thug, but the guy made so many private visits into childrens hospitals to see sick and dying kids without any fanfare, make your head turn......
..but i never met Cantona and heard about Keane through the head of the Children's Hospital in Dublin....
