Just had a good read through the last few pages in this topic, and having been away at the weekend with these guys, believe me, you have nothing to be concerned about. Embrace it, that's what I did and loved every minute of it.

If your bike has a low air intake don't forget your snorkel ( pipe of a vacume will do the job)Guys, when we do the pre trip meeting I suggest loading your bikes with all you intent taking to on the trip.
We'll do some easy river crossings and will help you with various techniques, hopefully then any concerns will have been addressed
Mark, still grateful for any advice or guidance you can offer.
Does anybody on the trip need to buy a silk sleeping bag liner ? I seem to have bought 2 by mistake. It cost me £38 (£45 from Cotswold minus the discount). £30 posted / hand delivered w/e 20th at the pub.
