Also ask if your bike etc is covered whilst it is at sea in the container, most insurance will only cover for a max 48 hours at sea.
If you feel you need to cover your bike for damage or total loss while at sea I can forward contact detail of a sea fright insurance agent.
Your choice :nenau:nenau

I know Tim, but I reckon a jump starter kit would be easier to use than trying to kick to 640 over ;).

Snorkel Sorted on 1200GSA, ready for Iceland

Just FYI - I put a snorkle on my 1150 for ideland last year. Go to a place that does ponds and get a length of pump hose. It's tough and uber bendy and I got a 4ft offcut (about 2in diam) for about £5

Too late, poor Henry is no more ..

What brand/model of sleep mat are you chaps taking to Iceland? I've got a cheap one off Ebay but am thinking I might need upgrade!

I've given up with Expeds and now using a Thermarest, I think it's called the Neo Therm.

Thanks chaps. I'll get one ordered. Those battery jump starts packs are fantastic by the way - my stepson's car has suddenly developed a battery drain problem so I've used several times over the weekend to get his car going - works like a dream and hardly uses any juice. You can also charge phones etc off it.
