Iceland July 2012

It's taken quite a while to sort out the photos from this trip, all 3200 of them. There are still a couple of minor formatting glitches in the web pages and probably too many photos in the albums. We're busy for the next few weekends and I don't think they're major issues so here's our Iceland report.

We basically went round the ring road so if you're looking for heroic river crossings or epic trips down gravel trails it's probably not worth your while clicking on the link.

Excellent photos......You don't need to cross rivers to have a great time in Iceland with a motorbike!

£180 return GLA-KEF with Icelandair then hire a bike from www.Bikingviking.is or a car from www.Hertz.co.uk can be a quicker and easier option and with an exchange rate of over 180ISK-£1 makes Iceland reasonably good value especially if you camp and use hostels aswell as shopping at the local Bonus or Kronan supermarket.
