Iceland Video "LAVA" trailer

Great vid, good timing too, we're in full planning mode even though our trip is a year away:)

Very nice video :thumb2

The quality and production are a cut above the usual - do you do this kind of thing professionally? (If not you've just made me feel very inadequate :D )

Thanks Matt, That is a very kind remark, I have started, over the last year or so to freelance and produce short films. I shoot as well as edit, which helps because I have a better understanding of how a film goes together I end up getting the shots I need to complete the film.
I still have work to do on the main video, which I,m looking to complete over the next few weeks. Thanks again. Darren

Excellent clip, very professional, I assume you use a pro camera and editing software? :thumb2

What with, first Devon's ride report and now this, the call of Iceland just gets ever stronger :)

Looking forward to the full vid, that intro is fab :clap

I shot this on a panasonic HD camcorder model HDC SD-100, that my wife got me for christmas 18 months ago. Modern HD camcorders are very good. For the onboard stuff we used 2 Gopro HD cameras, about the size of a cigarette box. I do use Final Cut Pro to edit on but you really could do this on a basic bit of software as I have not played with the footage using filters or fancy apps.
