Idle speed change

Had the biked steptoed two weeks ago and running perfectly, put a remus and end can on, now the bike appears to idle at about 1250-1500rpm rather than 1000rpm as before. I assume that this is due to the exhaust change - Not too bothered but does this need sorting sooner rather than later or shall i not worry about it.

No CCP in (or link), haven't tried the other configurations yet as the bike seems to run perfectly at the moment. (although mpg is a bit lower than before - 170 miles to a tank rather than 190), but probably due to me revving the engine more to make it growl :rolleyes:

ask steptoe, if it been steptoed, he will know.

when it's at working temp try turning the big plain screws in the throttle bodies inwards (i.e. clockwise) a 1/4 turn EACH (only do a 1/4 turn or less ) each while running until you adjust it down to you want the tickover when up to full temp to be 1050 to 1150 rpm

Note I Don;t touch the cable adjusters especially not the left one!

Note II Do exactly the same turns ~ directions of turns to both sides !
