If they did you would only be able to see the screen until the first swipe with your finger.
One of the many things I don't like on the GS is the instrumentation. I have managed 8 months without touching the lenses but last week it was covered in dew and I wiped it with a soft cloth. Now all I see in sunlight is a mass of tiny scratches.
Not very happy at all, what happened to proper glass?
Can these tiny scuffs be removed with a perspex polish or will it make things worse.

My LED is scratched and has tiny stone marks, but if you don't do any close ups...you won't notice...and that's what I'm going to do for now :)

hmmmm if BMW made bikes like iPhones …... as soon as it fell off the stand it would be smashed to fook!

i was just thinking about this scratch problem the other day , while washing the bike too … wonder if some type of "screen Protective cover " like you pop on an iPhone would help ?

If BMW made iPhones?

Ten years ago they'd be made to last, bullet proof, and functional in to the next Millenium :thumb

Today they'd be past their sell by date once out of the shop

Try gently cleaning it with some Mr Sheen, it has a remarkable way of hiding the scratches.

Yes ventureshield, i cut out pieces for the dash clocks and the front headlight.

Congratulations to smearing 8 months of accumulated grime over your instrument cluster and scratching it. Not sure why you seem so surprised at the outcome....
