On another forum I'm a member of (not bike related) the moderation is quite strict, it suprises me in fact how liberal this site is sometimes. For example, some of the derogatory comments that are made towards others would not be tollerated and members would just be banned simple as that.
I can see where the mods are coming from, when however many hundreds of bikes roll of the production line with the same/similar defects a forum filling up with posts of a similar vein is not in the best interests of the forum at large and a degree of editorial diligence needs to be applied to keep the forum fit for purpose.
So while some may object to an increased level of moderation...in relative terms this is nothing just good content management.
What a load of bollox, you don't have to carry it round, it isn't going to split your computer open with over posting. Each thread on Similar subjects takes a different turn, there will be piss takers and there will be miserable fuckers, but each opens up a different path. Oh and sometimes someone who knows what they are talking about provides the answer. You have to love it here.
smilie in the OP should have been the giveaway that this is a light hearted thread. Of course I wouldn't start deleting posts/ threads about genuine problems. Where would all the non owners have their fun, after all?

Ahhhhhh 'The secretary'. What a great film that was .... Now you've got my attention .....
