Loads of advertising and schmoozing locally, prices were reasonable according to the experts, huge venue....



One thing strikes me: You know who I work for... and we didn't get any jobs for outside broadcasts at the venue. You would expect at least local BBC/ITV and Radio 1...

I'm on Facebook at the moment and on the Racecourse Facebook page it says.......

"Newcastle Racecourse Ignition festival didn't fulfil their contractual arrangements regarding site safety therefore the event is unable to go ahead. We are very disappointed as we believed the Festival would have been a great event."

What ever the above means like?
