I have an ignition problem in my R1100GS.
No spark at all when starting.

Hall sensors give good signal, both. Measured in the connector under tank.
Ignition coil has 1.0 Ohms in primary circuit and 7 kOhms in secondary circuit.
Is the coil broken?

What else can I check?

Check the injectors are also getting an electrical signal.

When you find out if they are or aren't you can then narrow down your diagnosis.
I checked the injectors today.
No fuel is spraying from injectors.
Fuel pump works OK.

I also tested the system with another ignition coil. The coil is not broken.

Is it a Motronic failure?

Sounds like hall sensor failure, regardless of what your previous test suggested.

You may be right. :comfort:comfort:comfort
I tested today ECU ( Engine Control Unit )from an other bike.
It didn't help my bike but my ECU worked well in the other bike.
I will check Hall-sensors and rip them into peaces tomorrow.
I have already new Honeywell 2AV54 sensors in stock.

I've just bitten the bullet and bought a new sensor plate. There's nothing actually wrong with my existing hall sensors but at 16 years old I'm figuring its days are numbered and it makes me kind of nervous on trips. I'll be interested to see what condition the old plate's wiring is in when I change it.

Steptoe was right, again.
Thank's Steptoe.
It was Hall sensor failure.
I changed both Hall sensors and wiring and everything is OK now.
