Intermittent cutting out, particularly with handlebars turning, told me the short ignition part of the loom was giving up. Easy this time as I was at home, last time it happened I was just outside Tetouan Morocco! Anyway, soldered the offending wires and shrink wrapped 'em too yet when I re-fitted and tried the ignition switch the electrics light up but the starter doesn't turn over. Doesn't seem as if the sprung part of the switch is allowing me to go past the ignition live stage of the switch.
Ordering a "new" replacement is simple, just wondered if it was anything I was overlooking.
