I still need to do something about the drumming from the peak at high speed.

Just tilt your head down, works for me. 12GS standard screen, tilted right back.

I know what you mean. It was a bit better with the screen tilted right back, but I can't do that any more because of the Motorrad Concepts GPS mount.

I'm thinking of trying to isolate the peak from the shell with some rubber spacers.

So did you both get home OK?

That bloody wind nearly had me off after we split, good run back though, didn't even know that road was there! Mind you it was a bit dodgy at some point, black ice, snow, all but the kitchen sink!

Mean to ask keith, could you hear the exhaust from where you were...know its childish but must ask!

Anyway another good day out, cheers guys!

Naturally.....:) It's a great bit of road that. The best fun I've ever had on it was on an MZ Baghira Supermoto. I'm looking forward to days when it's dry and grippy and to much hooning up and down it. It was fun on the VFR as well, but on the GS it'll be considerably better....:D

Hi Nik,

Your zorst wasn't to loud, but did sound good from a couple of "car lengths" back.

I must get out more often in poor conditions, I rode like a "woose" on that road from Dunning to Knockhill. Great road mind, must hit it again when the weather is better.

Another good day out.

PS Just for the record I was colder today, watching my son playing rugby than I was yesterday.

That's very clever Keith, is there a vBulletin code to turn words upside down....?

I take that you are of course meaning that you rode like a "moose"..........? :D

Saw the BOS exhaust at South London Motorcycles and liked the look of it. Neat logo as well. According to the publicity blurb, it helps torque in the 2000-3500 rev range as well as top end BHP.

Which type of end pipe did you go for? Are you running with the dB eater in or out? Are there any downsides such as vibration?

Cheers
Tim
