I'm going nuts with pop ups blocking everything

I am trying to stop all the pop ups being blocked on my PC. I have recently installed Norton Internet security upgrade and it seem sto be stopping everything. HOWEVER, even with this disables I am getting POP ups blocked messages coming up. What other application will be blocking these and how can I change them??? I have BTOpenworld as my subscriber by the way but use Internet Explorer as my browser..

Any halp appreciated.

Whats Firefox?? I've just disabled pop up blocking on my Internet explorer as well as in Norton but I still get a pop up blocked message which is driving me insane...

So it's not the pop-ups that are pissing you off, it's the messages telling you that one has been blocked???

There must be an option to turn the notification off surely???

Firefox will be the kiddie for you though, like Tooned says......it's free and it's ace.....lots of skins, lots of toys if you want them (spellcheckers, radio tuners, you name it)....

Still getting grief if I use IE as a browser with the pop up blocker switched off. MAnaged to run the BT Yahoo Browser with the pop up blocker switched of eventually but what a swine. I may give Firefox a run in the morning.

no pop ups & virtually no malware seems to get to opera.

i wasn't going to recommend my favourite browserOpera because you were supposed to pay to get the ad free version, but as of today the best browser is now free :dance
