this Saturday.

I think that I'll have coffee at Stirling services around 09:30 and set off at about 10:00.

I shall head west to Aberfoyle and ride that ghastly road over the Dukes Pass. It's so dangerous with all those corners and up and down bits, I think that I may have minor masochistic tendencies. I will then head north for the north side of Loch Tay and up through Glen Lyon, another awful little track. I'll decide on the rest of the plan for the day at that point, it will depend on whether I've worn holes in the sides of my boots or not.

Anybody else wanting a gentle trundle is welcome to join me but as I'm an overweight middle aged 1150GS rider, devoid of skill and fearsome of the effects of adrenalin one shouldn't expect any excitement.

The weather looks as though I'll only get wet some of the time, about the best we can expect based on the summer we've suffered this year.

I'd come along but I fear you might be too fast for me, especially since my new GS has only 40 miles on the clock at the moment. Also, I anticipate that I'll be on my way to Ardnamurchan with SWMBO in her new car.

Have a nice time....:)

Sounds a really good route and would have been well up for it but Skye seems to have other plans for me on Saturday, though I do have plans for her for Saturday evening.

If by any chance her plans change, and I can make it, I will pm you.
