I'm removing the Adventure racks from my GS ...

… and I can’t remember whether the mounting bolts were already on the bike or supplied with the racks! Can anyone shed some light on whether the bolts and top hat washers should be refitted after the racks are removed?

Yes, they're there to hold the seat base down and to hold the plastic slots for the varios to attach to.

Yep. Standard fitment bolt for both the GS & GSA.
