iMac mountain lion update- update

Mountain lion told me a new update
Down loaded restarted
BUT still showing 2 updates in the app store

Tried to update I photo said I needed to update ML I've done this 3 times and still showing need to update

The update dialog box states ML updated and next to iPhoto says install

Then click on install and it again says Need to update ML :mad::blast:blast:blast

Help
 
I'm still learning with MAC, assume you've actually installed it and not just downloaded the update?

If so, have you re-booted?
 
I'm with you now then......thats my limits exceeded i'm afraid.....

I had this with my new MacBook Pro the other day, I installed the OS update 3 times I think, restarts and switch offs, and finally it did it right and the 'update' disappeared.

No idea why it took a few goes, but it eventually worked ok!

I also tried, kept restarting and the updates still showed as needing downloading, I went onthe apple support and was given a link that was a "combo" download.
It sorted its self out, no outstanding downloads now showing.
I have since had another update for iphoto so am up to date and alls working ok, the world of the Mac is not as problem free asci thought.
 
i could say "get a PC", but that would just be ludicrous.


try the combo.


i remember when apple OS updates just worked :rob
