I am planning a ride-out over to Imber on the 2nd Jan with all the linked byways on the SPTA.

I Haven't organised a meeting point yet but watch this space - depending on the number of peeps who want to come.

It will be a relatively early start (9am) and we will be out until it gets dark.

Pace : Experienced riders please (Swift) (85+ miles).
Suitability : Pogosticks or experienced riding gods on GS's

Stop for Lunch somewhere and fuel.

There are nasty bugs around at the moment of which the only recovery is a lot of fresh air ...... ;)

If you change your mind give me a ring ...

Will do. Planning on doing 150+ miles around the plain and incorporating the Ox Drove, & Shaftsbury Drove

might bump into you, planning on doing ox drove - so if you see a KTM and CRF looking lost then thats us :)

Much as i'd love to, after loosing my job in april last year i'm now self employed, and really can't afford to turn work away :blast

Hope you have a good day out, but you might need to trade the bike for a jetski after all the rain this evening.

I saw the rain today - SHould be brighter tomorrow and some nice deep puddles......

SHould have given me a ring! Had a great day and got to Imber.

Did around 150 miles again but didn't make the Ox Drove.

I think you overtook me today directly south of Lavington Hill. You were flying along, I was going much slower on my black 1150GS (on Pilot Roads).

Looks like you had a good day out,

Cheers, Mark

Hi Mark

We did see you - I was trying not to fill you in on the large puddles as that is not the standard acceptable greeting from one GS'er to another :D

Mike

Hello Mark - yes, saw you too. I remember because I thought what the hell is a road bike doing out here on a day like this!!! Didn't realise it was a trail bike as vision was impaired by rain..... Hope you had a nice one.
