Hi

I want to remove my IMO display unit and send it off to Touratech to get the battery changed.

Having lookes at it I cannot find a 'plug' or 'socket' where the wire enters the unit? The unit seems to be factory connected at both the display end and the black junction box end (where the revs, speed and power etc enter)?

Do I have to remove (and send) all of this i.e. the display unit, connecting lead and junction box or is there a way to disconnect the display unit only?

If not, what a pain (as it threads through frame, under the tank etc..etc). Has anybody changed their own battery, if so how easy is it?

Thanks

Nick

IMO + cable + black box = one unit.

You can open up the black box and disconnect the cables that go from there to the sensors.

I don't know where the battery is inside the unit, but it can't be that hard to replace I suppose...

Cheers,
Michel
