Import / differences please

hi, my bike is an import are there any major differences i should be aware of?

its probably left-hand drive , but you'd be hard pressed to tell unless you were an expert.

For instance - UK bikes have the rear wheel bolted on from the RHS, whereas European bikes like yours are bolted on from the LHS side.

Your Filler cap opens towards you - the UK bikes open away.

Your seat is in two halves - front and rear - whereas the UK bikes are one piece but look 'similar'

theres other slight differences too.

I 'm sure others will be able to add more detail.

Depends where it is from. If European then KPH speedo which needs to be changed or a few tippex marks added to it for MPH.Mot failure otherwise.

The only other thing is the lights, they will be left hand dipped not right hand, which again is easily changed. Infact don't dip it run it straight forward as the lights are so bad.

If it is from the North America you will have a little black cannister at the back of the bike opposite the exhaust, this is a charcoal filter, which can be removed very easily.
