I need to have the following info for the first registration of my GS ADV that (hopefully) is UK registered by next week ...

According to the V55/5 from I need
CO2 - (g/km)
Mass in service (?)
Particualtes (g/km)
CO (g/km)
HC + NOx (g/km)

Does anyone have these or are they availible from BMW in an easy to access form??

If you call 01344 426565 that is the BMW Group specialists for conformity of bikes and cars. Give them your VIN and they will send a nice fax or letter with the details but probably tell you over the phone also. I have been dealing with them on my import.

HTH, Nick.

importing???

Good luck to you mate,
I've just had a heck of a time trying to register my German gs.
For any bike/car manufactured 2003 on you'll need a Certificate Of Conformity, (C.O.C), the 51 point document.
I ordered and paid for a new one from BMW only to be told they did not issue the new 51 point coc untill sep 2003,
IF YOUR BIKE WAS MANUFACTURED BETWEEN JAN & SEP 2003 YOU COULD HAVE A PROBLEM.

Without knowing what paperwork you have I'm not sure if you'll have a problem or not.

I may be able to help with more info,
PM me if you need a bit of infor/tips.
cheers & best of luck to you,
p.

It's a Swiss bike so non- EU so I couldn't get a cerificate of conformity. It had to go through an SVA test - which was a piece of piss TBH. Now I just have to register ... but I noticed it said it should have been done within 4 weeks of the bike coming into the country

I was working on the basis that as I was living out of the EU and had owned the bike for three years I had 1 year on Swiss plates ...:nenau

Don't suppose any of those who have done this can just send me the manufacturers specs for these?

Hi

It's actually a single spark - but the specs you have will do just fine ....

The bike no longer has acat on it and sailed through SVA testing - it's just for form filling
