James Cargo is a shipping co that you may or may not have heard of. Globebusters use them on their trips, and they tend to be at most of the shows etc.

It may be worth giving them a ring for some advice on permanent importing to USofA.

They'll certainly sort out your shipping too.

Recommend these people they are brilliant and will put you right, my waffling about dirty bikles and health and safety was all fact as it happend to me so don't be supprised if flogging it is the only option.

Second hand bike prices are stronger here in France so I may well use the C of C to register the bike here and then sell it over here.

This mightr be true but DON@T do it in california another state a ride it in
thats what we used to fo until we sent them to California and problems arose.

Hi all,

Bad news today, been told by BMW UK that the bike does Not conform to California Regs. There is a Carbon Cannister added to the bike to control polution. More than that they couldn't tell me.

So I'm going to sell her.

What is a 2011 R1200GS Adv worth? Security and Dynamic packs fitted. Its the yellow and black one as my previous two GS's had been the black / grey models.

Only 712miles !!!
