Has anyone an idea of how the duty payable is worked out when importing a bike from ROI to NI.
From the HMRC website it advises that if not a new bike then no VAT payable (for NI).
I've called the HMRC website asking for info on duty payable but they have a million questions, wanting all sorts of personal info about me and who / where is the bike is being sold etc. I couldn't be bothered with all that.
The bike is 25yrs old, 600cc, 20k miles.
Just looking an idea of what duty would be payable.
