hi I wonder if anyone has noticed this behaviour or can help me out.
I'm a long time Garmin Navi/ Basecamp user so that's where my library is. My Nav VI died immediately before a trip & I picked up a CRN to keep me going.
So my issue:
If I import waypoints only from Basecamp to let the CRN do the routing, the order gets jumbled up.
I can fix it by manually numbering the waypoints 01. .... etc but that's a PitA

Any thoughts/ fixes?

cheers, Steve

is the CRN set to "optimise" the order as this can mess up things especially a circular route from a base.
have you messed with the file type? I had to do this yesterday to get routes from a Zumo 390 onto my new Moto Guzzi nav app. The Zumo put the files into GPX 1.1 but Moto Guzzi does not format the route properly unless I make the files GPX 1.0. I used the free version of My Route App, MRA, to examine the files in a different application and used that to convert the files. I now have the Zumo as primary satnav with the MG app as a back-up should the 8 year old Zumo expire on my trip next month.

Oh thanks - I hadn't found the 'optimise' setting. I'll have a look. Not sure what it is optimising if so. It was a point-to-point from the Ardennes to Bayern & it almost doubles the length / time :)

I am not familiar with the CRN but optimise is a common feature across all nav apps.
