I had a very good look around this today


and i have to say it looks a classy well put together bike, and the changes to the engine design has led to it being IMHO the tidiest looking boxer ive seen

only issue i could see is its about 10 grand to much for me , so im buggered if im going to ride one just in case i love it

the chap i spoke to came from a 2011 GS and couldnt stop gibbering about how bloody feisty it was compared to his old one , i could only compare his enthusiasm to that of a love struck teenager

so there you go , a self confessed 1150 nut has owned up to loving a wasserhead

in about 8 years ill have one

watch this space we are working hard on products for them and should be ready soon

but yes very slick and nicely put together and i once owned a KTM

My daily commute is an 87,000 mile 1150 donkey.... I went to Vines recently to get some fork seals for her tired legs and had a good look at the new shiny and think the new GS looks really well put together, well designed and the fit and finish appear well thought out and executed.

But donkey is loyal and reliable, despite a little arthritis, and with a potential emigration on the horizon no new shiny for me...

Its interesting to see it had what looks like a Givi topbox, not a vario. Rider was obviously a sensible chap - not taken in by all the BMW hoo-haa.
