improved bevel box output bearing

My bearing man has sourced me an improved bevel box output bearing ( allegedly), trouble is they don't all go, so how will i know if it works.

I take it you mean Crown Wheel bearing and is this for the 259 series bevel box or the paralever R80 100 type machines?

Also, what exactly is improved?

If you do in fact have an improved bearing, then I think I know quite a few people who will be very interested.

its for the 1100/1150.
go to your bearing agent he'll tell you about different grades of bearings that are available, ie C1 C2 C3 C4 etc on most bearing sizes.
