I am removing the tank from my 1100 to carryout some routine maintance and am thik=nking of placing a couple of quick conectors in the fuel lines to make this an easier job if I ever have to do it again and to make it easy to drain off some fuel for the camping stove.

1st as the bike is injected will this effect the fuel supply?.

2nd why are there two fuel pipes ?

Any help greatly recived.

1st - nope
2nd - feed and return

You can buy BM QD connects (take some spare o-rings if you're going travelling), or there are better aftermarket ones around, but I don't know where.

fuel connectors

Thanks for that, I will get a couple and fit them in.

When you fit them, turn one round. that way you will not get the lines mixed up when you re fit the tank, but make sure you get the ones that shut off both halves of the QD connector:thumb
