In the for sale section. V85TT Akrapovic.

Is this the Euro 4 or Euro 5 version? TIA
The part number on the box is MG8SO2-HFTT which correlates to the later product available from Akrapovic having looked at their website. The earlier exhaust is now discontinued it says.
Also, the EC approval document in the box shows compliance for Euro 4&5.

I think that it will fit all years from what I can make out. A couple of photos for you. Obviously have a look on line to see what you can find if you’re still unsure.

I’ve found some information for you. Here goes…..

The box measures 100x32x32 cm. I used a weight of 10kg although I don’t have the facility to weigh it. It is probably less but the volumetric weight is calculated as higher than that anyway.
DHL online came up with a price of £200.73

Hang on, don’t run off just yet 😂

I would be happy to accept a lower price of £360 for the Akrapovic exhaust from you and then for you to choose, book and pay for the shipping yourself. That way you can be in control of the carrier, item insurance, delivery speed etc etc.
You email me the details. I then print off the shipping label for dispatch and off it goes.
Obviously you would need my home address for the item to be collected and that I will only send via a PM rather than putting it on here directly.

Update. I’ve just found a company called Parcelcompare.com and using the dimensions stated they offer a FedEx 5-7 day service for £116.42. I don’t know about local customs charges and insurance but I’m sure if you investigate further you’ll be able to choose what suits. That sounds better anyway.

How does that all sound?? Let me know.

Ok thanks for all your effort there...
So just costing it through, with the exchange rate, shipping and customs duty, it will work out less than a hundred pounds, two hundred of my dollars less than a new one, so really not worth the effort sadly...
I had not realised the pipe was part of the can as such, making the box rather long and large, guess I was hoping for under a hundred pounds for shipping...
So shall pass on what could have been a desirable gift to my baby :)

While were chatting, how did you find the sound compared to the oem exhaust, was there much difference there.?
Or much weight difference.?
Cheers

OK, it was worth looking.
I will just add that with my (generous) discount of £40 on the Akrapovic you could argue that the shipping is only £75….bringing it under your desired budget??
No?? Worth a try. 😂

I didn’t notice any weight saving whilst riding but the sound is a bit ‘freer’ without being obnoxious of course.

Haha, I WISH... somehow we lost a 100 pounds somewhere there :) 360 + 200... With your very generous discount :)
My hope was shipping at around a 100 pounds but 200 it is... So can't seem to make that work by the time exchange, bank and customs fees, plus our equivalent of VAT which is 15% on top...
Ohhh well onwards...
I will mention I am a fellow Englishman :) Essex born...

Ah, sorry. I think that I may have updated my original reply after you’d read it.
Have another look as I found a FedEx delivery via Parcelcompare.com for £116.

That may make it work?
(I’m trying, I’m trying 😂)

Ahh ok, I will look at it tomorrow, bed time here and a early start to Saturday for me...
SO just to confirm, the pipe has only done approximately 600 miles of use, and is unmarked as in no dents or scratches...???
Cheers :)

No dents or scratches.
Sleep well. 😁

Thanks for reply, not had chance to look further yet, but shall this coming week, so still a maybe...
Curious, what do you pay in the UK for one of these.?
I’ve looked up the current price from Performance Part Ltd following the link from the official Akrapovic site, and they have the price at £884.
I’m sure that there are deals out there though but that’s the starting price.

Let me know how your research goes. Thanks for the update.

If the declared value of the parcel plus postage is less than NZD1000 there will be no customs duties to pay. See https://www.customs.govt.nz/personal/duty-and-gst/duty-and-allowances/
