Independant Mechanic - Milton Keynes or Cheltenham area

Just called Motoally to book the bikes' annual service and MOT only to find that he's closed the business.

Can anyone recommend a good independant around either the Milton Keynes or Cheltenham areas (or anywhere inbetween)?

I've used http://www.cheltenhammotorcycles.co.uk/ for MOT and repairs for my S1000XR & R1200RS. Next to the new Lidl in the town centre.

Not used them for a full service yet.

He's sorted out a few bits on my bike. And he will fit tyres too if you take the tyres and loose wheels in. For Mots I can suggest a guy who does them just outside earls Barton. Or Sean at OO motorcycles in college Street kempston. 012-349-10900.

He works on his own, old school, really knows his onions and totally trustworthy. Probably a hideously busy time of year. I'd look past any grumpyness.

well unless things have changed it was two of them both ex bvm bmw one doing sales of bikes and bits the other the mechanic and the mechanic is first class but only does up to 1150's he dont touch the newer stuff, have all the special tools ex bvm i think. I have used him for years

Had Ian carry out my service and MOT today.
Really nice chap & gave good feedback about what he’d done (& what would need keeping an eye on before next one).
Pretty reasonable price as well
