Does anybody know an independent BMW mechanic in Bristol?

Are they cheaper than Bristol mottorad?

i couldnt say but phone mike up and have a chat very helpfull guy and he is an independent

he re-built a mates 1200 FD not so long ago at a reasonable rate and is well thought of

I also have problem with final drive....
Wheel free play,horizontal and vertical with rear break on and off
Any suggestions?

is the play on the definitely on the wheel as sometimes you have play on the pivot bearings where the FD mounts to the swing arm "paralever" bearings

if your still worried about the bearing pop the main seal out and haver a butchers at it
