Independent Mechanic Somerset / Dorset borders ?

Guys,

Met a fellow GSer at West bay last Sunday while out on a very wet ride
We were discussing where to get servicing done round here - the mechanic who looked after my last 1150 GSA has retired

He gave me the phone number for an ex CW mechanic ??? who is now servicing bikes in our area. Suffice to say I've lost the mechanics number, so to save a lot of grief does anybody have it or can anybody recommend an independent mechanic inside a 40 mile radius of the Yeovil area?

Hi Dave,
I have just moved down the road from you at Wincanton, tried Bath Road Motorcycles in Bristol (never again!), CW in Dorchester are too
expensive, so might try these people next time: www.superbikesurgery.co.uk, they are mobile, so will come to you and they have an agent which covers our area.

Many thanks for your replies and PM's.

I'm going to try Darren Studley, as he has now been recommended by 3 different gs'ers (1 of them in Bridgewater is very precious about his black 1150 )

I'll keep you all posted.. Got to sort out a puncture today.. Every bloody farmer around me in West Lydford has decided cut / slash their hedges and I've picked up a thorn...
