Independent Stove Fitter Wanted ....

I have a back boiler fitted at minute and been thinking about a stove with a boiler as pipe work is all there . So looking for a fitter who can do it and won't make me sell a kidney to get it done . Anyone know of someone ? I can buy all parts local . North Down Area or beyond . Thank you . Geno

I may do. I believe my neighbour has been doing this for a while though I've had no need to use him. I think he fits for a number of suppliers. I can check later if you wish?

Simple job did it myself with fatherinlaw

If pipes all there shouldny need plumber

Might be if I knew what to do ,, would rather have someone who knew more than me .

Well maybe get lad who knows what doing and you di heavy lifting will save cost

Best id ho local hardware shop an will tell u who dey recomend

That is my big problem , I can't do any more heaving lifting , between hernias and injections ,I am a mess lol .

Head local hardware they will usually have good list numbers if local lads and will tell u who is good

Don't know if you ever got this sorted? A mate of mine in Helen's Bay just had a stove fitted by these guys in N'ards and he said they were excellent and not too hard to pay

I had a chimney guy out yesterday to inform on whats what when it comes to fitting a free standing stove into my fireplace that is currently blocked up and not in use at all, to be told i had a liner was great news, the to be told it only went up 2.5metres, was tragic news!! in a 4 story georgian house!! 20 metres required!! €850 materials alone and that doesnt include the stove itself! and he wanted €550 in labour to do it all which actually doesnt sound too expensive, but jeez, i was unfortunate
