I checked over my 1100 today before putting it in for its MOT.

I have recently fitted micro indicators as I was fed up regularly breaking the standard ones everytime I dropped it offroading. However, they now flash at about twice the standard rate. I know the MOT requirement is 60 to 120 per minute. Depending on how strict the tester is, is there any easy way to slow up the flash rate?

Refit the original indicators.

If you do a search on the Internet, you will be told to fit resistors, so the indicator control unit will see the correct resistance. At the moment, it probably thinks it has a duff bulb and reacts accordingly.

Or you could replace the control unit.

Didn't the kit instructions tell you this?:nenau

An alternative to adding drop registers to each of the indicators is to adapt the indicator flasher relay., simply by cutting the right soft solder connector as shown over on the AdvRider forumlll

Just done that and it works.:) Nice and simple and at no cost. Brilliant.:)

Or,
put something from your scrip into the testers tea (you MUST have something Crapaud :D ) to slow his head down.
Along with you inhaling the contents of a helium balloon and moving about realllly fast.
He'll think it's him running slow /not your blinkers running fast. :thumb
