Indicator Fault

I have had the same problem with my 02 1150 GS.

I use the bike for work all year round (3000 miles per month/80k on the clock ...blah....blah )

I believe the problem when using the bikes in the winter is that salt water can enter the switch and cause it to lock up.

After speaking to Bahnstormer (thanks guys) they said to strip the handlebar assembly down to the microswitches and clean.

This I did, by striping the switch down and removing the very flimsy rubber seal, I managed to flood the switch with WD40, press and press the switch and got it to work. Two months later it is still fine.

Another issue I had at the time, I, like you had to try and keep the cancel switch pressed, but I also have PIA spots fitted to an Autoswitch. This meant that one night riding down the A4 with indicators flashing and the spots coming on and off the guy in front driving a Golf a little over the speed limit actually pulled over thing I was the Feds!!!

Hope you get it fixed.
