indicator problem-help please!

I slid out on a diesel-covered roundabout a couple of days ago, I'm just fixing what broke now. It went down on the right hand side and fortunately not much seems to have been damaged, but the right-hand indicator doesnt work properly. The left-hand one is fine, but even with new bulbs on the right I get one flash and that's it. When I use the hazard warning button, the left hand ones come on, but nothing on the right. Do I need a new indicator relay or is it a problem somewhere else? Any ideas very much appreciated!

check the connectors, might be damaged or wire broken in line from the wires that run along the stalks.

done that, all seems fine-and the single flash seems to confirm its not a wiring break. next step is to check the unit in the fusebox I guess.
