I know this is probably very simple. But I’m removing the beak off my 1150 GS. My question is once you’ve undone the nut which holds the indicator on is the wire connected by a spade connector ?

Do I just pull it off, so to speak ?

Take the lens off and you’ll find a grub screw clamping the cable into the lamp holder. It’s been a while but I think I’m right :thumb

Remove the back screw, then lift indicator glass, then remove insert with bulb in it, you won’t have to take the screw of that holds the indicator stem. Just disconnect the wires and pull through stem, then you have access to use 19 flat nut on inside of the fairing to loosen the stem nut and after that you can remove indicator attached to stem from fairing.
Just had to do the other day...
