Mine died and I'm a bit frustrated that I missed out on one yesterday.

Would anyone who bought some for a rainy day consider selling me one? I'm not paying £70 for second hand switchgear from motorworks.

Thanks.

Sorry, 1150 gs, single spark.

one of these

go on then
if you can wait till they arrive

Gent. I'll give you shout if I get one elsewhere.

I'm trying to order one from Farnell, hopefully they will sell me one but the computer says no at the moment. Their also giving me the 'due to trade restrictions we cannot send to your area' nonsense. It's a micro switch for goodness sake. Not an aerosol.

Actually, Farnell no longer stock them, so Jbox, I'll hang on! Ta.

German eBay have second hand complete switch for about 40 Euro they would send to Dublin, if problem pm me I have contact there. Val

Thanks Val. I think I'll hold on for the switch. i wish i kept the last switch gear I replaced a few years ago.. Hindsight and all that...

I've 4x ESM K12 1 5M C in a plastic bag somewhere. Same switch, I think, but without the wires.

I don't think the wires matter, they can be soldered onto the switch. If you find it will you let me know? I'm grounded until I get this sorted! I've the promise of one but I'll take one off who ever can get me one fastest!

Nud1e kindly sent me a switch. I used th soldering iron to remove the circuit board. Then I realised some of the solder had pooled between the two prongs. Removed that, found suitable wire, soldered this on and araldited it all in place. I hope I did the right thing by removing the solder between the prongs. Anyway, I'll find out in the morning when I put it on the bike. Attaching a few photos but knowing tapatalk I'll have to power up the laptop.

No disco. Two questions.

How does this type of switch fit into the original housing? It's a different size to the original

I've used a continuity tester on the new switch. No beep. I was very careful. Should I have left solder between the two prongs as in an earlier photo? Common sense says not.

I'm going to fashion a bodge in the short term I've soldered two long wires to the Indi wires so I can activate the indi's. Just working on a switch bodge now. Not ideal but needs must.

Not giving up yet.
