I've developed a very effective warning light to ensure I never leave the indicators running (again) on my GS. I was so impressed with the results that I thought I'd make a batch and put them on ebay, virtually at cost.

To take a look just search ebay using the title of this post, or to see a YouTube video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eoBouXiET4s

Bit like trying to re-designing the wheel this pointless :blast

Not at all, the problem with the standard indicator warning lights is that they can be obscured by your helmet chinguard, they're too dim in daylight but too bright at night.

So I'll look out for your order.

is that switch waterproof?

looks like it'll turn into a blob of rust in a few months?

£20!!!! :yikes

BTW the video, if I'm going to be messing about with the bike wiring, might I know how to use a tie wrap? Gave up watching the rest of the video after that.

Ok guys, thanks for your constructive comments. I'll cancel the order for 5000 units being shipped from China and try to withdraw my resignation letter from the day job.

But seriously, I was only trying to share what has proved to be a very useful mod to my GS, but hey ho.

i got one off ebay , just one led, but v bright, mounted it were i could see it, its v good , (not on a gs)

If you can't see your indicator idiot lights, then I guess it's a good idea. People might think it's a shift light too :D

I thought BMs had self cancelling indicators, or is it only the 1200 models??

well done peps for getting off your arse and giving it a go:thumb2

you will find most here dont like admitting to a good idea and will tear it to bits just for the sport:P hey thats why we are Tossers:beerjug:

JTFR scotch locks are the spawn of Satan and those who use them should be birched:D:D
