Indicators won't cancel!!! 1150GS

Last Thursday in a downpour my indicators decided that they would not cancel.

Then Friday was a lovely dry day and the problem recified itself.

Then this morning they decided not cancel - no wet weather here - I have sprayed WD40 into the switch and all over the cabling under the seat - but no joy - can anyone offer a simple fix??

The cancel switch button is a snap fit and you can just pop it off. Then you can access the push button switch above it. It has a rubber cover on it, pull that up a bit and try to get some WD into the switch. Should fix, did on mine anyway
