1. Just give up Dave, I've already had a pm from Shadowfist, Haggisblower and PJ1200 saying that they are not worried about you and your video making. They were worried at first that another 'tosser' had an on bike camera but after your two attempts and the waiting...the waiting ... the waiting .... their Oscars are safe ........ :rolleyes:

2. Batman tonight- I'm glad you told me the end, I might just fall asleep halfway through...

3.Dave I can hardly move this morning following my fall yesterday ...:o
Karen has no sympathy, she said I'm getting too old for that kind of thing and I should stick to the tarmac...:(
I think she may have a point.........

4. Now I have to clean the bike and assess the damage ......... :eek:

I might just take a gentle ride up to the top of the hill and have a cuppa afterwards if I can get on it without too much pain....

Panos, your not getting too old at all. The best way to get riding fit, is to ride more. Don't put yourself down fella, you where doing damn fine and cracking on at a fair pace. You picked up good speed but got caught out by what was round the next corner. That's the thing with narrow lanes when your doing a new set. I'd have done the same if I hadn't seen you do it first.
Salisbury Plain is wide and open and you get a better indication of what's coming up next. Once you get used to the narrow lanes in enclosed areas, you'll soon get to enjoy them a whole lot more.
You did well mate, so don't knock yourself. It was hot and I think you may have suffered a tad of heat stroke and that brought on the migrane and exhaustion.
I know you can crack this mate. It's taken a year for me to get in the groove and I've still got a long way before I can deem myself competant.

On a cooler day, you'd have done it and come back for more. So don't shy away dude, with a few more days out, you suddenly click and it'll all start to come together.

Sometimes, slow & easy wins the race.

You did good mate. Everyone did good.



PS- Dave, you realise you'll have to add your clips to the Ride report section when we get the vids & stills from Dave's(who led the day) camera & the footage from my cam corder.
If got some cracking footage of us trying to free Dave's 12 from a very deep boggy section & of Rob giving it the beens on his pogo as well as the captain doing the lane of sand.
A damn fine day & got back about five after a cuppa stop at Dave's gaff with Mad Rob (Cliffhanger).

Thanks Dave & Ben for kind words......I was feeling ill all week.....but no excuse. It was a great ride apart from the fall ..... :o

Bruises...I have bruises on my bruises today and aches that were not there yesterday......:eek:...

Just a small point but I think we guys in the South East need to start a new thread next time ..........:blast

PJ I'm a girl when it comes to pain........not like you and real men ........ :D

Broken shoulder my ar$e.........:rolleyes:...........:augie

Bike is ok as went down in soft'ish stuff, pannier slight dent and spot light guard did it's thing but needs to be straightened.... but I hit a couple of young trees....

I'll ask how you are on 'Wishing PJ a speedy recovery' thread as I don't want to be the first to be off topic n this thread now do I ............. :augie
