I've just exchanged a Schuberth C2 for a Shoei XR-1000 at Infinity in Peterborough. I bought the C2 earlier this year and had to return it a few months back after the visor leaked durin a spot of rain. The helmet came back and was fine until last night when it leaked in a very big, and frankly dangerous, way. A quick call to Infinity and I was up there early doors this morning where the ever patient Aaron helped me select a replacement.

I do prefer a flip up helmet and liked the Schuberths sun visor arrangement but the Shoei fit really well, was lighter and since it was an outgoing colour scheme was cheap enough so I could get some new gloves too.

I've been very impressed with the attitude of the guys at Infinity and I'm currently writing a letter to their head office to tell them so.

Top marks for customer service :clap

I had similar rain ingress problems on a Shoei Syncrotec. After about one year's use the visor would just not seal at all no matter how much adjustment you did. The local Scottish dealer who sold me the lid did not want to know so I wrote to the importers to complain and also got short shift. A pity because I had always used Shoei helmets for many years with the Syncrotec having replaced a very good XR900 that had kissed tarmac.
Disappointed with my first flip front but more so the lack of customer service.

Now use a BMW System 5 which is great if a little heavy.
