In light of the difficulties that Andris and his partner experienced recently in a remote part of Wales's finest coastline, I thought it would be a good idea to gather a list of garage services dotted around the country that could in an emergency offer assistance/pick-up.

Motoradd Cardiff is the obvious one for South Wales he also has contacts for pick-up etc.

So looking for info on all county's in Wales.

This is not being posted to overide any assistance from individual Tosser's as individual assistance is always welcome.

If you have any recommendations please post.

Thanks Wessie good start.

What I'm looking for is the garages known for BMW servicing around Wales for starters. Y Cymro AKA Trefor I believe in Ammonford e.g. if anybody wants to fill-in the details.

Are there any in the Pembroke area for example.

Here is Trevor's details details.........

Pontarddulais Tyre Centre
Trevor Richards & Sons
01792 884 686

He runs a tyre business, but he also does servicing. Very helpful and knowledgeable and a Nice Guy too :thumb2

Thanks Mike,

What about Mid-Wales and over toward the coast any thoughts would be appreciated.

North Wales

Well up here in the North you have;

Colwyn Bay Motorcycles
4 Groes Road
Colwyn Bay
Wales
Conwy LL29 8PU
UK
Tel: +44 01492 535 959
Fax: +44 01492 535 969

They used to sell new BMW, but now mostly second hands, but the mechanics etc do their best.

Next are;
A & D Motorcycles,
Spencer Trading Estate,
Colomendy,
Denbigh,
LL16 5TQ
Tel: 01745 815105

They have a recovery van service. Though not a specific BMW dealer, their mechanics are pretty good and they can sort bike recoveries within the region. So worth a call if stuck.

If you need tyres:
Buckley Tyres: (No sunday fitting I am afraid, they just too many people every sunday, all at 11am in the past):
Buckley: Tel: 01244 544575

Failing the above if anyone is really really stuck etc give me call at the Gearpac office, being based in north wales I have a few private contacts etc if people are really stuck;
Gearpac - Buckley
Tel: 01244 549688

Thanks for the info Rocks.

Just looking a bit bare round the middle now.

I still come back to my suggestion of a few years back that some sort of membership contact list would be very usefull to all of us on occasions. I for one have no objection to my location; Carmarthen and mobile number 07971 169189 being listed to help anyone in need in this neck on the woods. Also have a trailer for emergency recovery.:beerjug:

ditto wot the dennis man said i also have a trailer and van if transport is needed..

plus tools and a knowledge of stuff!!

Thank you chaps it'll all help to spread the good will.

I'll keep it going for a while then write up the details and sticky it.
