Initial thoughts on my new GS...

I don't think anyone's done enough miles yet, but any thoughts on oil consumption with the LC. I'm guessing they can build it to tighter tolerances with the water cooling, so am hoping it doesn't burn any/as much ....... ?

I bought my 1200GS new in 2004 and it was and still is (to me) an almost idiot proof motorbike.

It's faster than I need it to be. Can't comprehend how handling could be any better this side of a race track...can brake to the point of the front howling...

Picked up my white TE today on the trailer,ordered in October and first time I've bought a bike without any test ride. So It,s been interesting following all the reports from the new owners.I will give you my tuppence worth if the snow and grit every leave the Kingdom.
