injector oring for my 1150 bmw rip off

i thought the same when getting them for my K100.It's because they're 'nitrile' apparently.
So i went on ebay and got cheaper ones. (a packet of 'loads' for about a fiver).
Worked fine / but probably wont last as well and might give odd problems as they disintergrate over time.
Yer pays yer money / yer takes yer choice. :nenau

Part is made.
Part is delivered to the BMW main hub.
Part is distributed to a dealer nearest to where you need to collect it from for your convenience.
Stored at the dealers until you urgently need one.
Staff to find the part and hand it to you on demand, or to pack and post it to you.
Governments share of VAT and tax.

I damaged one, one sunday morning, in desperation for a quick fix I bought a packet of O rings, mixed sizes from B&Q, couple of quid, that was about 4 years ago & have never let me down.

Nitrile doesn't make them expensive.... But I think steptoe has the equation nicely summarised!

Oops - sorry, I thought those were the ones we were talking about...

EDIT - The injector O rings are listed as 7.52 x 3.51 (not sure if the 7.52 is inside or outside diameter - I'd guess inside). These chaps seem like a good bet...

Further edit - Try here - they seem to have original and pattern parts...
