Just wondering, does it make any difference to the ink in the nozzle if you leave the printer on without using it for a day or so? I mean, is it more likely to clog up?

Shouldn't make any difference. When not actually printing the printer head will be parked and the nozzles covered either way.

Make sure your printer isn't too close to a radiator.
