I got one of these from "BMWBikeBits" last week and I have been out in some appropriate weather today.
Have a look at the "BMWBikeBits" site for decent pictures of it and a description, the link above takes you straight to it.
I was a little unsure of the method of fixing, it's held on with cable ties, but it went on the bike easily , is really a bloody good fit and certainly seems secure enough.
The main point is -- IT BLOODYWELL WORKS!!!!!
I've just been Sedbergh/Brough/Middleton-in-Teasdale/Alston/Penrith and home in pretty constant rain and clean dry boots. Magic!
I had been riding for about 20 miles in the rain before I gave in and stopped to don my waterproofs, and when I looked at the back of my left boot, it wasn't even wet.
So, a well made bit of kit, that fits well, doesn't look out of place on the bike, and does what it says on the tin. Shame about the cable ties, but I can live with that.
Gets a "Recommended" from me!

.Have to order this from Bikebits!
As well as rubbing on the side of the tyre the hugger also rubbed on the offside tread with these fitted - no such problem with the Contis IME.
