My K3 has all of a sudden decided to change it's self to kph from mph and only now doing 1 mins records. I tried to adjust these using the app but can't log into the unit via wifi, it's telling my password is wrong, god knows why I haven't changed it? So I've been trying to do a factory reset which according to the innovv website should reset the password to factory setting. To do this you are supposed to simply push the button on the remote for 10 seconds, which I've done countless times, all the light symbols power off and on again. I assume that means it's supposed to be reset, but it's not working, still being told incorrect password after putting in the default factory password.

Any ideas?

I’ve bought many items from them if you ring innovv and speak to Dave hopefully he will put you right

Ring them, they have always been helpful. Or raise a support ticket

Isnt there a reset button on the main unit, press with a pin etc

I normally do

With power on press and hold 10 secs.

Remove power, wait 30 secs
Press and hold the reset button whilst reapplying power, wait 10 secs and release

Try deleting the wifi connection or if using an iphone click on the specific wifi connection and choose the 'forget this network' then establish a new connection using the standard password.

Thanks. But if you read what I've said, I've been doing exactly that, it's not working. I've followed their instructions ie hold the button for 10sec it's doesn't change the password to default.

That's exactly what I've done. But can't get the unit to reset to default password, using the hold the button reset.

I rang them this morning 8 times! During their work hours of 0900 - 1700, in the end I left a message at about 10am and got a call, from a very helpful chap, who asked me how did I get hold of this number as it's all on line now! Your website I said, he was surprised!

Anyway, after much faffing and reinstalling the firmware I still can't access the unit via the app, on my phone or tablet, the password hasn't reset! He stated the push the button option doesn't reset the wifi password, even though it clearly says it does on the Innovv website, something else he didn't know!

He confirmed people in UK and himself aren't trained to go much beyond what we can do, e.g. follow the website information. It's another one of these everything is fine until it goes wrong with something imported especially from the EU since you know what! The UK support networks just aren't there, I need to contact Innovv, well not really I bought it from you, you should be sorting out the issue not me! I raised a ticket with Innovv yesterday I've still heard nothing. He sent them an email (copied me in) this morning as I type I've heard nothing, I'll keep you posted. I'm going into Europe on Friday with the bike, now very likely to be with no camera!

That is not my experience. When I had an issue albeit 2 years ago, the chap talked me through everything and we came to the conclusion it was a power transformer jobber issue. They replaced it. Not much help to you, but they were pretty good

That may well have been the case 2yrs ago, it wasn't this morning. The chap did his best, as he said he isn't trained to do much beyond what you or I could do, like following instructions and a bit of your own experience etc. So far not impressed and as mentioned what looks like yet another lack of support on imported goods when things fail!

I contacted them about a failing PSU, they said it was wear due to the cables being pulled

i called bollox but just replaced the PSU

if its within warranty make a claim
