When I did Camino Del Cid, in 3 weeks I only heard English spoken when I stayed in Benidorm.
I love being on the less travelled roads and visited places.

Good call Dave, but don’t tell everyone. We just love rural Spain, amazing how green and lush everything is in places.

Currently a little overcast but still beautiful. Aragon /Navarre borders just S of Pamplona.

The "herd" will never venture, it is out of their comfort zone....They need to know where petrol is and all that stuff.

We've had touring holidays in Spain every summer since 2015 (except 2019 on honeymoon). Apart from airports and one jaunt into Jaen to swap hire cars, we've rarely visited cities. Cordoba was nice for a day, ditto Santiago de Compostela. But apart from that we've tried to stay in rural locations and smaller towns whenever possible.
