I tried the insta360 x3 a few years ago and it was ok, but I was never impressed with the image quality. I thought I’d give them another go earlier this year mainly for mountain biking so got the x5 …. Really impressed with it

If you don't mind me asking, what do you use for mounting the X5 ?

I’m using the insta360 mount …. It’s really solid, also a short insta360 retractable pole.

there's a million and one mounting solution... for these cameras... it's almost worth while writing a shot list first then collecting these and it makes the edit easier

Thanks for the info Howard, I was looking at the Insta motorcycle bundle and with your recommendation I'll get that.
There's cheaper option but the insta set-up seems fast and simple. Cheers again.
