Installing battery cover

Just spent nearly an hour trying to get the battery cover back on the bike. Read the manual again and again, but to no avail!
I was ready to start cutting pieces off to make it fit!
Then I did a search online, only to find out that BMW's instructions im the manual are wrong! A fella had the same problem, went to the dealers and showed him how.
So if you get the same problem, heres how to put it back on.

Having seen your post, I thought I’d look at mine, as I don’t recall it being that difficult when I fitted the charging fly lead. However it is the same, so I’m glad I saw your tutorial. I’ve notice that my bike, a 2016/17 GSA has a much smaller battery than yours and uses a packing piece below the battery.
